Painted in the workshop of Andrea da Negroponte with Moses receiving the Tablets and the Israelites worshipping the Golden Calf before a rocky outcrop in an extensive river landscape with buildings and hills in the distance beneath a cloudy sky, flanked by a tree and rockwork, the foreground with a path strewn with large pebbles, the underside inscribed in blue quando moise helbe/Calegie (rim chips at 9 o'clock, slight flaking to rim in places, small chip to footrim)
