Late 16th Century, lustre a/M mark to underside
The central arms with eight bezants surrounded by stylised strapwork, trailing flowers and triangular cell-pattern panels within a border of stylised scrolling foliage and diaper panels, the underside with concentric lines and two waved bands, pierced for hanging (cracked from 12 o'clock towards the centre and associated piece broken from rim and repaired, minor rubbing and scratching)
