A pair of Worcester shaped rectangular dishes
Circa 1768
Each painted with the 'Sir Joshua Reynolds' pattern in the kakiemon palette, with an exotic bird perched on turquoise rockwork issuing branches of trailing flowering paeony surrounded by insects in flight, brown line rims (minute rubbing to rims, one with minute rim chip at 5 o'clock, the other with very slight scratching to enamels of bird's tail)
