A Chelsea white crayfish salt
Circa 1745-9, incised triangle mark
After the silver-gilt model by Nicholas Sprimont, the crayfish with one claw resting on a shell-moulded dish, on a rockwork base applied with further shells, corals and seaweed (restorations to shell, crayfish and base, chipping to extremities)
