The rectangular top with waved gallery above a central architectural section with a top drawer decorated with a pediment and a cartouche above a recess with four detached Corinthian columns and an open arched niche concealing three short drawers, flanked to each side by four drawers with pierced foliate scrolling angle-mounts centred by shaped panels and an escutcheon in the shape of a male herm, the stand with rectangular tapering frieze on four Solomonic column-supports joined by a conforming X-shaped stretcher and on later ebonised feet, the central pull-out niche with broken internal support, the gallery with chips and a break to the left, the central sculpture to the niche now lacking, the top and gallery early 19th Century
