The glazed circular white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters, with hinged bezel in a lappeted border, with a rectangular beaded and dentilled platform to the top with seated figure of Minerva, the clock with a circular drum and standing on a breakfront beaded and dentilled platform, flanked on each side by a warrior in classical dress, the platform on a pierced and stepped apron with patera panels and a laurel garland, the later movement stamped 'MEDAILLE D'ARGENT Vincenti & Cie', lacking winder and pendulum
