The Visitation - a wing of an altarpiece, a fragment

The present picture is to be dated to circa 1500 and it is closest in style to the oeuvre of the anonymous master provisionally called the Riofrio Master by C.R. Post in A History of Spanish Painting, IX, part I, 1947, pp.383-393. Compare with the Annunciation in the Cathedral of Avila (C.R. Post, op. cit., p.384, fig. 127).
