of trunk form, the double lid containing compartments for instruments and accessories, one inner lid embossed Mellish Ellcome, London EC, the centre compartment containing original six large rectangular medicine bottles and thirty square-section medicine bottles with original labels by Burroughs Wellcome & Co., the case labelled S.Y. 'ST. GEORGE', with gilt-brass bands and fittings, and twin swing handles -- 15¾in. (40cm.) wide
