painted and gilt with panels of European hunters on horseback with numerous hounds variously standing in a group and in chase, alternating with panels of flowersprays and river landscapes on gilt foliate grounds, the interior with a central cluster of peonies and further flowers within a spearhead border -- 11 3/8in.
