A pair of German twin handled majolica vases
of fluted ovoid form with knopped and scalloped neck flanked by scrolling handles, the body moulded in relief with panels simulating needlework, painted in colours with pendant sprays of flowers, between alternate panels of scrolling foliage and trellised flowerheads, painted in shades of green and brown on a cream ground, the interior glazed blue, stamped B.U., circa 1880 -- 44cm. high (2)
