A highly influential and controversial film for its day. Muni gives his best performance about the rise and fall of a Chicago gangster (based on Al Capone) with more than just a soft spot for his sister, played by Ann Dvorak, full of unsubtle symbolism, consequently the film's release was delayed by censors. This is the only known copy of this poster and the first time an original poster for this film has appeared at auction.
