THE VICTOR FAIR COLLECTION Vic Fair (b.1938) is best known for his concept design and illustration for the Nicolas Roeg film The Man Who Fell To Earth (1976), lots 76 and 77. Amongst hundreds of other designs he was also responsible for one of the campaigns for Roeg's Bad Thing (1980), lot 78, and the Monty Python classic Jabberwocky (1977), lot 79. His artwork for The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981), lot 82, is regarded as the best produced for this film. The original artwork is on offer here. Lots 76-83 are from the artist's own collection.
