A pair of Japanese cloisonne bottle vases with slender flaring necks and short feet, decorated with confronting ho-o in lappet shaped panels, bands of flowers and scrolling foliage, geomotric patterns and Buddhistic lion masks on pale yellow, white, green and red grounds -- 8¾in. (22.3cm) high, (small hairline crack to neck of one).
