A string of twenty-five ojime, twenty in ivory variously carved and pierced with noh masks, deities, dragons, mice, monkeys, a skull, birds and a brocade ball, four in lacquer, some inset with mother-of-pearl and horn, and one modelled as a double gourd flask in gilt bronze decorated in relief with trailing vine leaves -- 3/4in. diam. max. (some with minor splits and losses).
