This was the last time that Great Britain won a team Olympic Medal in this event. White was chosen as Captain of the British team. The team consisted of White on Nizefella, Patricia Smythe on Flanagan and Peter Robeson on Scorchin. They scored 69.00 points as opposed to the 40.00 scored by the winning German team. White was placed 4th in the Jumping (Prix des Nations) Individual Competition.
