The Hommage collection was born in 1996 as Roger Dubuis's personal tribute to the watchmakers, teachers, and friends who had shaped his vision of high horology. Its design language drew openly on the great mid-century Geneva watches, particularly the Patek Philippe chronographs of the 1940s and 1950s, where Dubuis had spent fourteen years before establishing his own atelier. What emerged was a collection that felt at once familiar and entirely new: classical round cases with stepped concave bezels and sculptural lugs, paired with dials of restrained elegance, yet executed with a distinctive expressive touch that was unmistakably Dubuis . Production was deliberately limited, with each configuration made in a series of just 28 examples, a practice that has ensured the collection's enduring scarcity. In the years since, the Hommage has come to be regarded as the purest expression of Roger Dubuis's original philosophy, a body of work that honoured tradition without being confined by it.
