The present reference 5205R-011 is a particularly attractive example of Patek Philippe's modern Annual Calendar, combining the warmth of a pink gold case with a striking olive green dial. First unveiled in 2010 in white gold, reference 5205 distinguished itself through its patented instantaneous display of the day, date, and month arranged along an elegant arc beneath 12 o'clock, a sophisticated indication shared only with the far rarer Grande Complication reference 5207 introduced two years earlier.
In 2022, Patek Philippe refreshed the collection with the present olive green sunburst dial featuring a subtle black-gradient periphery, creating one of the most desirable modern executions of the reference. Faceted applied pink gold hour markers complement the rich tones of the dial, while the three calendar apertures are framed in pink gold to emphasise the calendar display.
