on laid paper, watermark small Fleur-de-Lys (Briquet 6998)
including:
Judah and Tamar, a very fine, dark impression, printing with much plate tone, intense contrasts and inky relief;
Leander swimming through the Hellespont, a very, fine luminous impression, printing with plate tone;
both sheets with margins, a stain in the left margin, a few tiny holes, generally in very good condition
