拍品专文

According to Timothy Rub, former director and chief executive officer of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, "De Scott Evans' Two Pills a Day offers a riff on his popular 'take one' theme. Unlike his easily recognized peanuts and almonds, however, the pills offered here are unknown and unlabeled. They promise health, presumably on a doctor's advice, and yet their promise is an illusion, like the pills themselves. Created in an age of hucksters and false panaceas of all sorts, Evans' pills offer a cautionary tale and warning about the risks of credulity." (unpublished letter, 2013)
