Compare the monkeys illustrated by C. Albiker, Die Meissener Porzellantiere im 18. Jahrhundert, Berlin, 1959, nos. 165 and 166 and the single female monkey illustrated by R. Rückert, Meissener Porzellan, Munich, 1966, taf. 264, no. 1062, where he attributes the model to Kändler.
