Produced for a relatively short period from the late 1990s to the mid 2000s, A. Lange & Söhne 'Darth' watches have risen in fame to mythical status and represent some of the most collectible timepieces from the respected brand.
The present timepiece has a very distinguished and minimal 'Darth' appearance from the silvered black dial and matching black date windows. In quiet steal fashion, is measures at a modest 34 mm. diameter and is heavy from the solid platinum construction.

The Saxonia was amongst the four watches that debuted in the first collection of the watch manufacturer A. Lange & Söhne in 1994. With its simple and elegant design, the Saxonia took a permanent place within the collection of the manufacture, paying homage to Saxony and the savoir faire of watchmakers of the region.
