On four gadrooned cushion feet, the stepped base with a border of stiff leaves rising to a cylindrical well mounted with alternating laurel wreaths and foliate and palmette sprays between stiff leaf and beaded borders, the hinged domed cover with conforming silver mount and acorn finial, engraved on the inside 'Gavriil' in Russian, marked on cover with 'Fabergé' in Cyrillic, further marked throughout with workmaster's initials
