The ribbed gold beads at each end of the necklace closely resemble those on an example in a private collection, published Usha R. Bala Krishnan and Meera Sushil Kumar, Dance of the Peacock: Jewellery Traditions of India, Mumbai, 1999, p.239, no.385.
