Arabic manuscript on paper, 228ff. plus eight flyleaves, each folio with 15ll. of tight black naskh, within red and gold rules, gold rosette verse markers, catchwords, gold and blue marginal medallions, sura headings in red, illuminated opening bifolio each with 7ll. of black naskh, the final folio with 8ll. set within circular frame, colophon with signature and date, later brown leather binding without flap, the front cover with tooled and gilt medallion with pendants and spandrels, cream paper doublures
