Ils sont représentés assis sur une base à section carrée ornée sur chaque face d'une réserve fleurie de chrysanthèmes, prunus, lotus ou pivoines contre un fond de treillis. Ils sont modelés au naturel, en miroir, les oreilles dressées, un lingzhi dans la bouche, et portant un miroir sur leur dos.
