The collector’s seal belonged to the Hong Kong collector Zhao Shudong (1900-1995). Zhao was born in Guangdong Province and later moved to Hong Kong. His collector’s seal was carved with his studio name.
Zhao was passionate about collecting and appreciating art and was an early member of the Min Chiu Society.
