An unusual Victorian and later composite dessert set,
comprising: twelve pairs of knives and forks, the blades and prongs with bright-cut wrigglework decoration, and a matching spoon, the crimped bowl decorated with flowers and foliage, the handles fashioned from nuts divided by plain roundels and with ball terminals, all but one fork Mappin Brothers, Sheffield 1877, the replacement fork Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1906.
