the fig-shaped bowls with short rat-tails, each with a foliate-chased baluster terminal, one scratch-engraved with two sets of initials and a date 1642, circa 1640, maker's mark W.D. conjoined, C.F. Jackon, (Ian Pickford Edition page 523), the other with a single initial, the reverse of the bowl engraved with the same initial, circa 1580, maker's mark W.D. conjoined (Ian Pickford Edition page 523).
