A French early 20th Century parcel-gilt ciborium
on a rising hexagonal foot with inscription in Latin, the knopped stem applied with pearls, the bowl and cover each decorated with foliage and with an inscription in Latin, the cover with gem-set crucifix and orb finial, now detached, the underside of the foot with presentation inscription dated 1909 - 8in. (20.25cm.), 10.75oz. gross.
