A collection of maps developed from Apollo 15 and 16 orbital photography.
The maps in this lot resulted from Apollo 15 and 16 photographic data taken on ITEK and Fairchild cameras. Three maps titled Aryabhata, Cajal, and Jansen are located in the Mara Tranquillitatis near the area of the Apollo 11 landing site. Maps Herschel, Brunner, and Dagierre feature large craters and rough, jagged mountainous regions; Banting and Eppinger show smoother mare regions with an additional map titled Beer. The final chart is titled Hadley and has marking to indicate the Apollo 15 landing site.
