SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Dave SCOTT. With the towering Mount Hadley in the background, Air Force Colonel and Apollo 15 Commander Dave Scott takes a moment to pause and salute the United States flag. The flight was the first extended exploration of the Moon using the Lunar Rover to travel more than 17 miles during three separate EVAs, or moonwalks.
