A YELLOW JADE ‘DOUBLE LOZENGE’ BRUSH WASHER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The washer is carved as double intersecting lonzenges, flanked by a pair of phoenix-head handles suspending loose rings. The sides, the interior and the base left undecorated. The stone is of an even yellowish-green tone with some faint natural inclusions.
