Backward nose when tasted for the first time en primeur in the spring of 2013. More closed at this stage compared to the previous year.
In the taste the rounded tannins and sweet soft cherry fruit are well balanced, pure fresh and elegant. A wine of pure young Merlot definition. The lingering fine acidity is classic for this 2012. Very nice Petrus. April 2013. EV
