A PAIR OF TABLE LAMPS, 2013

Paul Belvoir (b.1963), educated at the Medway School of Art, creates an array of objects from silver, lapis lazuli, rock crystal, Italian slate and other luxury materials. His elegant, sleek designs recall the strongly defined lines of Art Deco and 20th-century modern living as a whole. His silver has had solo exhibitions in New York, Paris and London. Further examples are also held at the Victoria and Albert Museum (London).
