KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The body is covered in a 'mirror'-black glaze bearing traces of gilt decoration depicting immortals examining a scroll in a mountainous landscape amidst pine trees below borders of ruyi and alternating 'cracked ice' and shaped panels depicting Buddhist emblems. The tall, trumpet-form neck is decorated with further immortals, including Shoulao, and a deer.
