in the neo-classical taste, on a trefoil base, the part-fluted and beaded tapering circular body on ram's hoof supports, applied with ram's masks, classical busts and bow and laurel swags and with a broad band pierced with roundels and slats, a narrower foliate-pierced band above, maker's initials S.W., London 1870 - 6in. (15cm.), 16oz.
