These two adorants come from the same picchvai. They are very similar in style and technique to female attendants depicted on two black ground picchvais from the Thomas and Margot Pritzker collection and from the Sackler Gallery (See Gates of the Lord, the Tradition of Krishna Paintings, the Art Institute of Chicago, 2015, cat.45 and cat.46, pp.107-108). Both are attributed to Hyderabad and dated late 18th century.
