Rectangular, the cover chased in high relief with a warrior prince in helmet, chain-mail, a hunting horn hanging from his belt and holding a mace in one gauntlet, mounted on a prancing horse, city walls in the distance and a legend in stylised Cyrillic letters Orel Voivode, gilt interior
