Zindato was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, and after spending time in Berlin, India and Mexico City, now lives and works in Cuernavaca, Mexico. He creates bright, organic backgrounds in pastel and renders elaborate, extremely detailed patterns on these surfaces with fine nibbed pens and thin brushes. His drawings evoke aboriginal art and mandalas, referencing his years of travel and connecting his output with visual cultures from across the globe.
