Comprising juz' III, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XIX, XXI, XXV, XXVI, XXVII from a Qur'an in 30 juz's, Arabic manuscript on paper, each with 9ll. of black muhaqqaq script, verse markers in the form of clusters of three comma-shaped motifs, sura headings in red script within rectangular cartouche, each but one in original stamped brown morocco binding with flap, old waqf inscriptions

An endowment (waqf) inscription on the reverse of the first folio of juz' VII states that it was given by Ahmad 'Ali Pasha who lived near Al-Azhar [in Cairo]. The note says that ten juz's should be read the morning of each day. It also gives details about the contributors of this large Qur'an. The inscription is dated to 20 Dhu al-Hijja AH 1125/7 January 1714 AD.
