A HONGMU WAISTED CIRCULAR STAND

The top is set in a circular frame carved with lotus lappets, supported on a pierced waist above a further band of lotus lappets. The rounded shoulder is carved in openwork with alternating ruyi heads and shaped medallions enclosing blossoming lotus flowers above beaded and shaped aprons that join five cabriole legs terminating in scroll-form feet.
