A PAINTED DUAN STONE STAND

The stand is finely carved as a lotus supported on a splayed foot decorated with the Eight Buddhist Emblems above a shaped square platform, suggestive of a mandala, inscribed with a mantra in lanca characters reading om mani padme hum. The stand is decorated in vibrant pigments of red, yellow, green, and blue color.
