The Principality of Wales Lot 63 and 65 are types of furniture only found in North Wales, the house-keeper's cupboard with distinctive slatted panels in the doors to keep food ventilated, whilst Lot 65 is a variation of the typical cupboard-base dresser having the rare feature of additional posts to support a canopy roof. By comparison Lot 51 is a good example of the South Wales dresser which more typically has an open pot-board shelf below.
