A RUBY-RED GLASS BALUSTER VASE
QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The bulbous body of the vase rises to a waisted neck and a flaring mouth rim, supported on a short foot. The exterior is decorated with a continuous scene of warriors in battle amidst tall pine trees. The semi-translucent glass is of an even dark red colour throughout.
