NORTHWEST CHINA, NEOLITHIC PERIOD, 2ND MILLENNIUM BC
One a bi disc, the semi-translucent stone of mottled dark grey-green color with slightly opaque areas of russet and buff color, the central aperture drilled from one side; the other, larger, disc, probably a bracelet, with large central aperture also drilled from one side, the pale olive-white stone now mostly altered with opaque areas of ivory and brown color, both with smooth polish
4 1/8 and 4 ½ in. (10.9 and 11.8 cm.) diameter
