CIRCA 1745-50, BLUE BINDENSCHILD MARK, INCISED A

The present model and that of lot 1231 are based on Meissen models copying blanc-de-chine prototypes.  Mr. Ellsworth kept these two rare Vienna figures close at hand as comparison models-- they display his keen interest in Western interpretations of Chinese forms.  See R.
