Shaped rectangular on ball and claw feet, the two associated mounted cut-glass bottles, Birmingham, 1896 by another maker, flanking a central nib compartment with dog finial; also an Italian silver oval inkstand, Genoa, 1794, with later Dutch control mark post 1906, raised on four feet, with three fluted receptacles with fluted sides and gadroon rims, the central one surmounted by a bell, the other two with modern glass liners
