Baluster and with two grotesque mask capped beaded handles, the body and cover each chased with a lion and a unicorn among foliage, the cover with an auricular style grotesque mask capped finial, engraved underneath with initials, marked underneath and on cover
9 ¾ in. (24.7 cm.) wide over handles
31 oz. 1 dwt. (966 gr.)
The initials 'WW' are almost certainly for William Welby (d.1704), Lincolnshire.
