CIRCA 1890, ATTRIBUTED TO THOMAS WEBB & SONS, THE WOODALL WORKSHOP

The Islamic form and the Asian inspired carving of the clear and translucent-ruby glass on this vessel are particularly subtle, with contrasting matte and polished 'gem-like’ surfaces that appear to float above the opalescent ground.
