The corona elaborately hung with pendant chains and cascades over a ball and baluster stem and eight scroll arms, the base similarly hung with teardrop pendant, the wood core incised 44, some replacements to glass drops, later threaded rod, five ormolu drip pans replaced

Very similar chandeliers were produced by the Real Fabrica de Cristales de La Granja, which was established by Philip V in 1727. Comparable examples can be found throughout Spanish palaces, including in the Throne Room of the Palace of Aramjuez and the Official Salon of the Palace of La Granja (see J.A. Hernandez Ferrero, The Royal Palaces of Spain, New York, 1997.
